Spring Fling

Life is so crazy around spring time that sometimes I forget to stop and savor it. Fragrant buds fill the air and winter creatures come out of hibernation and into the crisp, cool air. But best of all is the bright, vibrant hues that pop up like flowers in the catalogues and windows as if they knew our bleak winter eyes needed a shot of color.
Spring is the time to splurge on that special piece that feels as good to wear as the smell of sweet spring air.

Love to all,

Ultraflesh Panthera

I got this mini mascara sample from Sephora as a free gift a while ago and was instantly blown away. I had never tried any products from the brand Ultraflesh, so I was not expecting anything special. As it turned out, this mascara has the potential to be the best one I've ever used! It makes lashes incredibly long without a hint of clumping and adds a shiny black gloss that makes eyes sparkle. I know, I know, every mascara CLAIMS to have those effects, but trust me! This one does! I also love the rubber wand that reaches every single lash including the inner corners and its great for bottom lashes as well.
I truly believe that this is the holy grail of mascaras (of the many I've tried) and is many times better than any drugstore brand I've tried. You can find the normal sized product at Sephora. I'm not sure exactly how much it is, but I'd say it's worth the price.

Beach Babe

Simplicity takes the form of a cloudy day on the beach with Daria in sheer blouses and slouchy blazers. As the face of Miayet's Spring 2012 collection, Daria exudes the ease and free spirited essence exuded by the clothes. All of the pieces have that certain effortlessness that I crave for that perfect spring outfit. I love the light, almost oversized quality of the trench coats and of course my weakness, socks with pastel heals.

enjoy!

Fog City

Some of the photos from our vacay in San Francisco. We go here often, so I thought I knew exactly what to pack, but the weather was much colder than we expected so I practically lived in my trench coat. Despite the occasional drizzle, we did get time to roam the streets and visit some of our favorite shopping areas and restaurants. Had the most amazing breakfast at the Ferry building and wandered the little boutiques along Fillmore and Union. We had to stop at Japan Town to pick up our asian fashion magazines and delight in the endless style inspiration and free gifts inside. We visited the breathtaking Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit (photos coming soon) at the De Young Museum and stayed at our regular hotel, Le Meridian. It is one of my favorite parts of coming here, from the beautiful rooms, gorgeous views, and intoxicating scent.
I miss it already...
